Dextrose

Is crystallised glucose and made from corn, wheat and potato starch and is referred to as D-glucose. Crystallized glucose is dried to a fine white powder, which has a sweetening property of approx. 70% compared with sugar.

Dextrose is used as a sweetener, a preservative, a filler, a vehicle and a source of carbohydrate, for example for fermentation.

Dextrose is used in many foods such as in syrup, bakery, soft drink, meat products, dietary supplements, ice cream and in confectionery.

Can be delivered both as conventional and organic.
