Cane sugar
Is also known as saccharose. Cane sugar is extracted from sugar cane, which is subsequently boiled into a sticky brown mass which crystallizes on sugar by evaporation.
White and refined cane sugar is available in a variety of granule sizes and is primarily used as a sweetener but can also in variants where a proportion of the cane sugar syrup (treacle) is present in the sugar crystals, give colour in applications.
Cane sugar is widely used in many different types of foods.
Can be delivered both as conventional and organic.
