Procudan turns 125 years
Today, 1 May, we are marking a special milestone at Procudan. It is 125 years since the company was established under the name De Danske Mejeriers Fællesindkøb (Danish Dairy Suppliers).
Right from the start, acquisitions and the development of new business areas have been a key driver of our growth.
Development over the last five years
We continue to work on this development today, and the milestones of recent years are concrete examples of this.
- In 2021, we established Procudan Blends. A service for manufacturing companies wishing to optimise and streamline their current production processes through blending and repackaging.
- In 2023, we launched ProCera® Natural. A 100% natural cheese wax that can replace traditional petrochemical cheese waxes for the ripening and packaging of cheeses.
- In 2026, we expanded our range of fruit products through the acquisition of Presmann ApS.
Our way of working
Our development is based on strong collaboration, where value is created through close dialogue with our customers.
This requires an understanding of our customers’ businesses and a structured way of working, so that what we develop together also works in practice.
A solid foundation for the future
125 years is a good occasion to assess where we stand. At the same time, it provides a natural basis for further work on developing solutions that are valuable, well-thought-out and tailored to our customers’ needs.
The anniversary is being marked internally with a joint morning event for the staff.
