From butcher to sales with focus on good dialogue

Curiosity and relationships drive the journey

Mathias Masting started as trainee at Procudan in August 2023 as part of his business administration programme. He has a background as a butcher and sales consultant - and a natural interest in people, dialogue and good solutions.

During his time as trainee, he quickly got close to both the business and the customers. It was the start of a collaboration that continued with a permanent position in the summer of 2024. Today, Mathias is a permanent part of the sales team that works closest to the customers - and he helps develop collaborations and relationships within vending, ingredients, blends and repackaging.

It is all about good dialogue

Mathias has no doubt about what makes the difference in his work with customers:

- I believe that openness and honesty create the strongest relationships. It is not about saying as much as possible, but about listening and understanding what the customer needs.

With his experience in the food industry and his eye for people, he works to find solutions that provide value - both now and in the long term.

Room to be yourself

Mathias feels that Procudan provides room to be whole people - and that makes a difference in everyday life.

- There is room for personality and it's a place where you are seen and heard. I have been invested in with time and trust, and it makes me want to give something back.

The journey is far from over. With his curiosity intact and dialogue as his most important tool, Mathias is ready to take the next step together with his customers.
