Customised for your cheeses
No two cheeses are the same, nor are your cheese wax requirements. At ProCera® WaxLab, we work with you to test wax formulations in a controlled test environment. The tests provide valuable insights into wax functionality and performance that can be used to adjust and optimise the formulation.
While we cannot recreate every detail from your own production, ProCera® WaxLab allows you to test the wax's protection and appearance under stable and well-defined conditions.
We also offer advice when changing cheese waxes to achieve the best results with proper temperature control and handling.
Faster route to market
ProCera® WaxLab makes it possible to test the cheese wax's different colours, textures and properties - quickly and efficiently. The trials help identify the right wax formulation that both protects the cheese and presents it in the best possible way, which shortens the development phase, allowing your cheeses to reach the market faster.
- We wax directly on our customers' cheeses in the WaxLab, so there is no disruption to large-scale production. During the trials, we evaluate the performance of the wax on the cheese. If the wax does not meet expectations, we adjust the formulation and repeat the trial.
